A Brisbane man has been arrested after authorities say he had allegedly taken Viagra, used it to treat erectile dysfunction.
Michael O’Connor, 28, was arrested in Brisbane on Wednesday afternoon after a call from the medical service on Friday evening.
He had been taking Viagra and had been using it to treat erectile dysfunction.
O’Connor was charged with one count of conspiracy, one count of introducing a sexual offence, one count of possessing a counterfeit sexual enhancer (the “enhancement”), one count of selling a fake sexual enhancer, one count of distributing a fake sexual enhancer, and one count of distribution of a counterfeit sexual enhancer.
Police received a tip from the medical service that O’Connor was being taken to a Sydney hospital, where he was being treated for erectile dysfunction.
He was then arrested by police.
O’Connor faces a short jail time after being released from jail on a $25,000 bond, police said.
“He has been held in the Brisbane jail on bail pending further enquiries.”
Police are currently searching O’Connor’s home for the suspected ingredients.
He has previously been arrested for possession of counterfeit Viagra.
O’Connor was being treated at a clinic in Brisbane.
Police believe that he had used the ‘enhancement’ of Viagra before.
